Terms of Service

The rules for using this site and our messaging program, written to be read rather than skimmed past.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of duluthradon.com ("Duluth Radon," "we," "us"), operated by Rad LLC. By using this site or submitting a request, you agree to them.

What this site is

Duluth Radon provides information about radon testing and radon mitigation in Duluth, Minnesota, and connects homeowners and building owners with radon professionals licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health.

Information on this site is general

Everything written here about radon levels, system types, costs, timelines, and Minnesota law is general information. It is not an inspection, a diagnosis, or a quote, and it is not legal advice.

Radon is specific to your building. Two identical houses on the same street can produce very different readings. Nothing on this site substitutes for an actual test of your specific property performed by an MDH-licensed professional. Cost figures are typical ranges, not offers, and the only real number comes from someone who has looked at your foundation.

Statements about the Minnesota Radon Awareness Act and other legal requirements are provided for general understanding. If you need advice about a specific real estate transaction, talk to your agent or an attorney.

Licensing

Minnesota law requires anyone performing radon testing or mitigation in a building they do not own or lease to be licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. Work arranged through this site is performed by MDH-licensed professionals. You are entitled to ask for a license number before any work begins, and you should.

Requests and quotes

Submitting the contact form or calling us is a request, not a contract. No work is scheduled and no obligation exists on either side until you and the servicing professional agree on scope and price directly.

SMS messaging program terms

Program: Duluth Radon customer care and appointment messaging.

What you get: replies to your request, scheduling and appointment messages, test result notifications, and follow-up about the service you asked about. We do not send promotional blasts.

  • Opting in. You receive texts only if you check the SMS consent box on our contact form. The box is optional and unchecked by default.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can get a quote, a test, and a full mitigation system without ever agreeing to text messages.
  • Message frequency varies depending on your request and appointment schedule.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier — we have no control over what they charge.
  • To stop: reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further. You may also call or email us to opt out.
  • For help: reply HELP, or call (218) 520-9679.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Supported carriers include major US wireless carriers. Service may not be available on all carriers or devices.

How we handle the data behind this program is covered in our Privacy Policy, including our commitment that mobile opt-in information is never shared or sold for marketing purposes.

No warranty and limitation of liability

This site is provided as is. We work to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and radon science, pricing, and regulations change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its general information. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
